Historical Collaboration: Noosa, Cooroy, and Eumundi Chambers Unite for a Night of Connection and Community

On March 20th, a significant milestone was reached for the local business community as the Chambers of Commerce from Noosa, Cooroy, and Eumundi came together for the very first time at a sold-out networking event held at The Doonan.
The evening marked more than just a gathering - it was a celebration of collaboration, shared vision, and a united commitment to supporting local businesses and strengthening our region.
With a focus on building stronger relationships between chambers and the broader business community, the event highlighted the collective power of unity and the importance of working together through both opportunity and challenge.
Presidents Ralph Rogers (Noosa), Cindy Suters (Eumundi), and Sirah Robb (Cooroy) each shared valuable insights about their respective chambers and the unique roles they play in the region:
Noosa Chamber emphasised the uncertain political and economic landscape ahead, reassuring attendees that the Chamber is actively working to support local businesses through advocacy, resources, and collaboration.
Eumundi Chamber, while maintaining a strong focus on its members, also stands out for its focus on providing value to members in the B2B space and close alignment with the tourism sector through key tourism partnerships, and directorships on the board of Experience Eumundi, influencing destination marketing and visitor confidence positions Eumundi as a key player in shaping the region’s tourism strategy.
Cooroy Chamber is deeply rooted in community connection. In addition to its support for local business, the Chamber also manages the Cooroy RV Stop in partnership with Council and proudly organises major community events - most notably Christmas in Cooroy, a beloved annual celebration.
