About Chamber

Eumundi Chamber:

• Actively promotes member businesses, local events and activities within the Eumundi district and its surrounds;
• Engages in regular networking functions for members that are hosted by members;
• Via Experience Eumundi, Chamber is actively involved in promoting the Experience Eumundi brand and ECCO's digital, print and social media;
• Provides member representation with Tourism stakeholders such as Visit Sunshine Coast, Tourism Noosa and TEQ.
• Provides member representation and assistance with regulatory bodies including Sunshine Coast Regional Council, State and Federal Government;
• Provides services through this website such as event information and business information exchange and promoting networking and workshop opportunities available in the region;
• Contributes volunteer, sponsorship and marketing support to other local events that attract customers to local businesses and increase visitation in the area, and
• CCIQ Membership, and representation with Sunshine Coast Chamber Alliance, providing local businesses with access to information, training and workshop events, and resources.
• Provides representation of member businesses as one of three Member Associations on the Board of Directors of ECCO Ltd - Experience Eumundi.

Our main priorities are to:

1. Work as a united and representative group to influence government authorities to act in the interests of members as a whole;
2. Assist members in business to achieve their business goals and to attract investment to the township.
3. Expand membership to include a broader representation of 4562 and surrounding businesses and encourage membership from all sectors of the local economy;
4. Increase member engagement and participation in chamber activities;
5. Provide members with appropriate training and networking opportunities;
6. Connect members across industry sectors and the wider business community;
7. Provide cost-effective marketing opportunities for members;
8. Contribute to building local business sustainability and economic growth for the region through increased spend, visitor numbers and length of stay 7 days of the week;
9. Provide support services through a central communication and resource hub to assist members in growing their business;
10. Generate additional income for Chamber to invest in member services;
11. Be instrumental in achieving infrastructure improvements for Eumundi to encourage investment, attract more visitors and to benefit the community as a whole;
12. Improve and enhance 'whole of town' marketing strategies and facilitate constructive investment in the Eumundi brand.

To achieve objectives, the Management Committee meet regularly to attend to administrative and operational matters, as well as progressing a schedule of projects and to address issues affecting local businesses.

Annual membership fees primarily fund chamber activities and operational expenditure, with additional proceeds from events, activities and projects being used in accordance with all its objectives detailed in Chamber's constitution.
