Eumundi Green 15 May 2019

Eumundi Chamber of Commerce Inc. organised a networking breakfast at Eats Eumundi on 3rd May. It was a great turnout with over 20 members and guests in attendance.

Chamber welcomed their guest speaker Nicole McNaughton, Marketing & Events Manager of the Food & Agricultural Network (FAN).

Nicole provided everyone with an overview of FAN’s objectives and their goals as well as past achievements.

“FAN also recognised one of our members in the crowd Rebecca Nary-Dart from Bamboo Australia who was the State Winner for the 2019 Delicious Produce Awards & the Slow Food Noosa Snail of Approval with their edible bamboo range, so it was a great opportunity for members and FAN to congratulate Rebecca on her achievement!” Cindy Suters said.

New members and guests as well as Cr Greg Rogerson were welcomed to the breakfast and a number of business spotlights were presented including a short presentation on the Australian Wearable Art competition on 24 May and Lou Clarke from Ebb and Flow Studios provided an overview of the Curated Plate event happening in Eumundi in August.

Chamber President David Perez noted “The atmosphere was amazing with lots of people making new contacts and networking… goes to show how vibrant and passionate the business people in this town are; it’s great to see and be involved.”

The Chamber MC are now preparing for the AGM on 21 May and the launch of Chamber’s new website.
